Expanded RX

Turn the radio off. Disconnect the power source. Locate the bank
of eight diodes in the upper left corner of the display board.

Remove D5 for RX: 136-174 MHz
Remove D6 for RX: 420-480 MHz
Remove D7 for RX: 1240-1320 MHz

Bonus

By installing a 1SS355 diode at location HD8, you will also enable 
Narrow FM (FM-N, max 8 KHz bandwidth) on 23cm. This will improve
reception slightly if the FM signal is "down in the mud".
